pkgconfig fix for nut
Dear Stanislav, thanks for your patch. The problem with your "recommended" pkgconfigdir is that in many cases, it does not work. Namely, when ${prefix} is not one of the standard places such as /usr. As I understand it, the whole point of a tool like pkgconfig is to allow other software to automatically detect the install location of NUT, especially when that location is not one...

libuv bug ??
EPEL package but I think there's a packaging bug, thought I would ask here. Trying to build something that requires libuv-devel - it finds the .so but can't determine version. header files are in /usr/include/uv however the pkgconfig file specifies /usr/include as the include directory. The pkgconfig file also has the version so I'm not sure why the make file can't determine version, but maybe it is trying to get version from a header and looking in /usr/include instead of /usr/include/uv because the pkgconfig file doe...

Am I missing something ? how can I get the pkgconfig for clutter ? My system has none even though I have all the clutter-devel packages installed. Thanks, Jerry

[nbdkit PATCH 0/5] ci: Get to green status on FreeBSD and MacOS
I took the easy route of crippling what I couldn't get working, on the grounds that partial coverage is better than none now that we have Cirrus CI checking commits on additional platforms. This series got me to a green checkmark: https://gitlab.com/ebblake/nbdkit/-/pipelines/793156983 but depends on an as-yet uncommitted patch in libvirt-ci:

rstan warning messages
...ears old. It's quite possible that these R modules are checking for modern dependencies and not finding them. That said, something strange is definitely happening here. You're getting this error message: No package 'libcurl' found That normally means that it could not find the pkgconfig file for 'libcurl', but I've pulled down the libcurl-devel package that you installed and it definitely has: /usr/lib64/pkgconfig/libcurl.pc I think the only way I'm going to be able to troubleshoot this is to bring up a RHEL 6 VM and try it myself. ~tom == Red Hat

Question on CentOS 7.5 clutter-1.0 pkgconfig missing
Thanks, > It's provided by clutter-devel-1.26.2-2.el7.x86_64: > /usr/lib64/pkgconfig/clutter-1.0.pc Ok. I did not have the ending .pc so now yum provides "*/clutter-1.0.pc" gives me the same as you. And in fact that file is on my machine under /usr/lib64/pkgconfig however when I do "pkg-config clutter-1.0" it returns nothing. Jerry

libuv bug ??
Okay looks like uv.h is in /usr/include - I didn't catch that until reading the message. So the pkgconfig file is likely correct and not a bug. Probably then a bug in the makefile for what I'm building (newer cmake - bootstrap builds, it's post bootstrap that fails) On Sat, Oct 27, 2018 at 9:48 PM Michael Peters <pipfroschpress at gmail.com> wrote: > EPEL package but I think there...

small pkgconfig patch for speex
...at the include files have been moved off to a speex subdir. This small patch fixes it. I also think that the SPEEX_VERSION variable should be just VERSION afaict so this adds that as well. (K)Ubuntu 11.4 x86_64 compiling wine gstreamer
Since the latest wine builds wine don't finds the gstreamer-dev files. When i try to to compile wine 1.3.15 wine finds them but not for wine 1.3.27. I had a packages installed that are needed to build wine ( i installed them through apt-get build-dep wine1.3).This problem also happens at the building of the latest ppa packages for ubumtu amd64.
