Un saludo cordial para cada uno. Les agradecería una ayuda con lo siguiente: Debo trabajar con una función de varias variabes, digamos f(x,y,z). ¿Cómo definir la función para usarla luego con ''integrate'' de forma tal que pueda fijar dos valores, ''y'' y ''z'', por ejemplo, e indicar los límites de integración para la variable que queda libre?

Computer algebra in R - would that be an idea??
>From time to time people request symbolic computations beyond what D() and deriv() etc can provide. A brief look at the internet shows that there are many more or less developed computer algebra packages freely available. Therefore, I wondered if it would be an idea to try to 'integrate' one of these packages in R, which I guess can be done in more or less elegant ways... I do not know

Hi, I noticed recently when installing the GDD package for R under GNU/Linux that it required the gd library (http://libgd.org/) for generating graphics. The resolution of this was to simply install the library on my system, and then GDD successfully installed without any complaints.
