Whats the trick to get X on the PI3?...

aarch64 / Raspberry Pi3
Hi, some time ago we've been asked to provide aarch64 build of qemu-kvm-ev for CentOS Cloud SIG consumption. We did it, and while at it we also built oVirt 4.0 VDSM dependencies for aarch64 in CentOS Virt SIG. Testing repositories have been created and are now publicly available: [centos-qemu-ev-test] name=CentOS-$releasever - QEMU EV Testing baseurl=

Speexdsp --enable-neon doesn't compile on 64bit
Complains about missing Int16 functionality. So for 64bit on Arm you have to compile without –enable-neon and that has a huge effect on the AEC functionality. The Pi3 with neon is just struggling with the AEC routines as its audibly better on a Pi4 but its not the garble that a Pi0 produces. Without the neon on the Pi3 the 1.2 – 1.85 perf boost of neon with FFT is lost and it really effects AEC effectiveness. There are quite a number of low cost ArmSocs now all...

Raspberry PI3 - CentOS armv7hl gnome desktop
Maybe there is a better place to post this message but as my question was still CentOS related thought I would start here. Please advise if there is a better forum of which to ask this question. I am playing around with making a "desktop" workstation out of a Raspberry PI3. I have had no problems installing the OS and pretty much have everything working except a Gnome desktop. I did: > yum groupinstall "GNOME Desktop" and from what I can tell everything necessary is installed. However when I try to start X up I see it try and start, the display bli...

Endogenous variables in ordinal logistic (or probit) regression
...d by y1* = b0 + b1 * y2 + b2 * X1 + b3 * X2 + e1 and y2* = c0 + c1 * y1 + c2 * X1 + c3 * X2 + e2 y1* and y2* are not observed, we see only the categorical outputs Y1 and Y2 that correspond to Y1 = 0 if y1* < pi1 Y1 = 1 if pi1 <= y1* < pi2 Y1 = 2 if pi2 <= y1* < pi3 Y1 = 3 if pi3 <= y1* and similarly for Y2. Since e1 is "going into" y1*, and y1* "goes into" y2*, then there is the good chance that the error term e1 is correlated with y2*. Running polr (Y1 ~ Y2 + X1 +X2) in isolation might give badly biased estimates. I have...

CentOS 7 uses mariadb, not mysql. The version available in the repo should be 5.5.52. If Oracle builds mysql for armv7hl (armhfp), binaries might be available from them. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... I road travel quite a bit, and have a Garmin Dezl 760D with my own profiles on there. In both of my trucks, I've got gps recievers running off raspberry pi3's, running CentOS7/armv7 images. I bring all this together on my laptop, running viking and gpsbabel under the hood. This allows me to do all my route planning on either google-maps, google-earth, or viking and all the tracks from the different devices come together as layers. The POI tracking...
