CD-ROM won't boot. BIOS problem?

pxelinux problems with some Fujitsu-Siemens PCs and a solution

Problem with SysLinux but not with LILO
Hi, I am trying to use two products that use SysLinux and finally realised the SysLinux is the cause of my woes. I'm trying to use Freesco and IPCop. IPCop version 1.3 used a different boot loader to 1.4 which uses SysLinux. I have been through numerous trials and tribulations in trying to get Freesco to work but eventually gave up and went with IPCop. I kept getting the "Boot

Hello, I''m going to be helping a friend setup Shorewall in place of his Cisco router on his home network. Shorewall will be acting as the router/firewall gateway for internet access for his home LAN. His connection to the ISP is via PPPOE. Nothing unfamiliar here to me. Opteron Mobo Suggestions
I've been planning to build a dual Opteron server for awhile. I'd like to get people's suggestions on a suitable motherboard. I've looked at the Tyan K8SE (S2892) and K8SRE (S2891) but would like to find more Linux-specific experiences with these boards. Some features I expect are at least 4 SATA (SATA-300?) ports, serial console support in the BIOS, USB 2.0 and IEEE-1394
