Network Latency
Hiya,
I''m trying to track down some throughput latency that our customer seems
to be attributing to our product, I can''t see what he''s talking about,
but I want to try and get some deeper granularity than I might get with
something like smokeping, and maybe even see if its down to something
tunable on our end.
I''ve been looking for some examples on how

question about WINEPREFIX
I wanted to ask to the wine experts something about WINEPREFIX or the crossover bottles...
how does the concept of "bottles" compares/differs with the concept of application virtualization (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application_Virtualization) used by VMware's Thinstall (http://www.thinstall.com/products/virtualization_suite.php) (aside for the .exe container*) and

"Secure" tftpd source for Linux?
I''ve been poking around my system, and realized that having a tftp server
would be handy. (I''m working with cisco routers, which have the capability to
up and download configuration images via tftp.)
However, I''m not content with the usual tftpd that comes with Linux. The
whole "specify each directory you want" scheme is cock-eyed to me. I''d

FYI: Ben Rockwood: Solaris no longer free
...s for me are useless? they increase fear to Solaris users, but achieve nothing? and Oracle is under no obligation to answer.
They are still planning what to do with Sun?s stuff, so they probably do not even know how to answer yet? I think it?s best to keep waiting a bit more and see what they do.

wow, I dont even understand as well why you should answer all the comments, trust me I?m not a fanboy of anything. anyway, you should also talk to Larry to read something about differences between Solaris and Ubuntu, he still thinks Oracle?s unbrea?...

New user - Issue using Generic::Mkuser in the ghoneycutt/generic module.
I''m trying to automatically create users as a requirement for ssh keys
to work. Here is my issue. I am getting this error from the agent. The
SSH part works fine, but it will not create the user due to a
dependency issue. I do not know how to debug this.

But with 3.4 I had no luck.

RPC error logging in to PDC on Win-64
I've upgraded one of my client boxes to Windows 64 bit edition but now it cannot login to the Samba PDC, instead it gives a RPC error after entering the password. The Win32 boxes can still login fine.
I can get accounts without admin rights to login but those with the rights are given a message stating "The system cannot log you on due to the following error:
