open_sockets_smbd: accept: No buffer space available
...crease tcp_conn_request_max (it was at 20 and is now at 4096), however the ITRC entry had something to do with inetd. It also suggested that the server might be too overloaded and doesn't react quickly enough. Is Samba 3 more picky about this then Samba 2? They suggest to isntall two patches: PHNE_21767 PHNE_21217 I have PHNE_26250 installed which supersedes. PHNE_21767 (or any later) isn't installed. 2.1.1p2 HP-UX 11 timing error
FYI in order to get 2.1.1p2 to work on my HP-UX 11.0 systems I had to patch atomicio.c for EWOULDBLOCK (HP read() does not give the POSIX return code). The new atomicio() is a clean fix for this timing problem; all it needs now is this one little tweak. Also had the "General Commercial Security" error (PAM_TERM_ERROR from pam_acct_mgmt()) which I have very crudely addressed for now by
