Input/output error when running `ls` and `cd` on directories

I have glusterfsd running in debug mode, but it's not giving me any
details. I've stopped, restarted glusterfsd, unmounting and
remounting the glusterfs shares after that. What is happening and how
can I fix it? Thanks.

3.1.2 Debian - client_rpc_notify "failed to get the port number for remote subvolume"
...;s not an accurate error.
I searched the mailing lists and bug-tracker, and only found this similar bug:
http://bugs.gluster.com/cgi-bin/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=1640
Any idea what's going on? Is this just a benign error since the
cluster still seems to be working, or ?
Thanks

[Gluster-devel] Gluster health/status
Gluster devs,
I found the message below in the archives. glfs-health.sh is not
included in the v3.0.3 sources - is there any plan to add this to the
"extras" directory? What's its status?

Hi all,
Here is some work related to Health monitoring. glfs-health.sh is a shell
script to check the health of glusterfs.

client mount fails on boot under debian lenny...
Hi
Is there clean way to ensure that a glusterfs mount point specified in
/etc/fstab is mounted automatically on boot under debian lenny when
referencing a remote node for the volfile? In my test case everytime I
reboot, the system tries to mount the filesystem before the backend 10ge
interface comes up so it gets a "No route to host" and immediately
aborts.
I know I can dump a mount

Posix warning : Access to ... is crossing device
I have a distributed/replicated setup with Glusterfs 3.0.2, that I'm
testing on 4 servers, each with access to /mnt/gluster (which consists
of all directories /mnt/data01 - data24) on each server. I'm using
configs I built from volgen, but every time I access a file (via an
'ls -l') for the first time, I get all of these messages in my logs on
each server:
