Venn diagram
Hello, I am a total beginner with ?R? and found a package ?venn? to create a venn diagram. The problem is, I cannot create the vectors required for the diagram. The manual say: "R> venn(accession, libname, main = "All samples") where accession was a vector containing the codes identifying the RNA sequences, and libname was a vector containing the codes identifying the

Simple Lookup... why so slow
Dear List, At 32 degrees Celsius in the office, I was too lazy to figure out the correct xapplytion for a simple lookup problem and regressed to well-known c-style. Only to see my computer hang forever doing 10000 indexed offset calculation. Boiled down, the problem is shown below; needs a few milliseconds in c. Looking at the timing results of n=2000 and n=4000, this is not linear in time, so

I have corrected a dead link in the treering documentation
...anyone reacted to this - and so thank you as well for the reminder. [..........] The web.archive.org aka Wayback Machine aka Internet Archive URL does work and your patch is formally fine. There may be one small problem: IIUC, the wayback machine is a +- private endeavor and really great and phantastic but it does need (US? tax deductible) donations, https://archive.org/donate/, to continue thriving. This makes me hesitate a bit to link to it within the "base R" documentation. But that may be wrong -- and I should really use it to *help* the project ? > I found other dead lin...

Please, can anyone give a clear idea on how this works: Get the content of c0d1s1 to c0d0s7 ? c0d1s1 is pool home and active; c0d0s7 is not active. I have followed the suggestion on http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/zfs/demos/zfs_demo.pdf % sudo zfs snapshot home at backup % zfs list NAME USED AVAIL REFER
