tests for non-stationarity
Dear R list members, Please excuse my ignorance but as a new comer to R I was wondering if anyone knows of any functions in R or Splus that can test a time-series for non-stationarity such as the Pettitt or the Mann-Kendall tests. Kind regards, Jon Nott [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

weird things in seqMK() and sqmk()
...to use this function. It seems to me to give very odd results - sometimes identifying 8 or 9 changepoints in a relatively short vector of maybe 40 elements, and at other times not giving any changepoints at all, despite visually there appearing to be changepoints and other changepoint algorithms (pettitt etc) saying that there are other changepoints. Apart from the cran vignette there doesn't seem to be anything on this function Has anyone else used the seqMK() function and if so, have they noticed any weird behaviour with it? I've also lookedf at sqmk() in trendchange function. This al...

Looking for tor users experiencing crashes
I've had an informal, third or fourth hand report of kernel instability when running Tor under load on unidentified versions of FreeBSD. Obviously, this is a bit vague as bug reports go, but I'm interested in seeing if anyone has had real experience with this happening, and might be interested in helping to track it down. If there are kernel crashes, I'm specifically looking for

Problems with Upgrade from Courier
I inherited a server from a previous employee. The server crashed so it was time to move everything over to another server. We have a web mail site and I installed everything running dovecot, postfix and roundcube. After I installed it, everything worked great when I created a new user. The new user could send and receive emails with no issues. I then copied the home directory over from the

Listening outside ipfw / program interface to ipfw
Hi, Two quick questions that I can't seem to find answers for using google. 1) is is possible to listen outside an ipfw firewall - that is have ethereal record the packets before ipfw starts dropping them? If so how? 2) Is there an api to ipfw that will let me manipulate rules, query stats etc? I need something faster than running the command line binary? Thanks John
