converting old uucp buffer files to maildir
Hi *, besides my dovecot maildir structure, that has been migrated from an Exchange server, I have an even older mail structure in an ancient uucp style. The program named CrossPoint I used for this isn't wideley known, but it used so called mpuffer files in a plain text format. It is the program I still use to write for example this mail. I wonder if there already exists a program or script

CLI and DNIS presented to Analog extension
My company is based in Australia and we have a need to be able to present CLI (ANI) and DNIS to an analog extension. Currently our PABX vendor is saying they can only deliver CLI between the first and second cadence. The system will collect calls via an aggregate of ISDN PRI services from the PSTN and then direct them to the analog extensions in a hunt group configuration. It is important that

survival analysis and censoring
In your particular case I don't think that censoring is an issue, at least not for the reason that you discuss. The basic censoring assumption in the Cox model is that subjects who are censored have the same future risk as those who were a. not censored and b. have the same covariates. The real problem with informative censoring are the covaraites that are not in the model; ones that

asterisk callerid
I'm missing something simple I think: I have an spa3102 for which I want asterisk to use the incoming pstn callerid when it sends the call to a local extension (207). callerid works fine for the internal phones (between each other) The spa3102 is picking up the PSTN callerid and displays it in its own status pages Asterisk however, doesnt see the callerid at all. The spa3102 is set to:

Problem with Winbind on Solaris for Samba 3.0.21rc2.
Hello again, I have been testing Samba 3.0.21rc2 with Windows ADS support on SPARC/Solaris 8 and 9 and am experiencing problems with winbind for nsswitch. Firstly, can anyone confirm this configuration this works at all? Secondly, how did you get it to work? I am aware of various difficulties with winbind/nsswitch on Solaris and I thought I had done everything necessary to solve that. My

p adjustment on 4thcorner results
Hi all, This is probably a very simple question but I cannot figure out how to do it. I run the fourthcorner method with my data and would like to adjust the p values for multiple comparisons using Holm correction. When I run the fourthcorner I obtain the results in yellow. What do I need to do to be able to aply the Holm correction to those p values? > library(ade4) > four1 <-

Is there a simple method of changing text into 'Proper Ca se'
Yes and no. Given your response it appears that "Proper Case" is not a term that everyone uses. In Excel there is a function "Proper" which in essence changes "this line into something like this" into "This Line Into Something Like This." My look at casefold seesm to be that is is a wrapper of two functions to change text into either Lower or Upper case.So

Is there a simple method of changing text into 'Proper Case'
I am probably just looking in the wrong place. I am sure there are a number of ways to do this. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be very much appreciated. wrong password on authentication for INVITE
I have a Snom 360 phone that will not work on an Asterisk server but it will on another server. This phone has been working for over 4 months or so. I can not figure it out. This is the only Snom phone that I have so I can check it against another one. The PBX that fails, fails with any extension number. Replacing the phone with a SPA has no problems. I don't understand how it can

dos floppy client for samba wanted
I need to be able to access my Samba network from a DOS floppy. Obviously it must be a tcp/ip client rather than netbeui. Any pointers on doing this? Not *too* cryptic as I'm not expert at this sort of thing. I'm pretty sure I saw some material on the Samba site, but now I cannot find it. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Lindsay Allen

Windows XP Pro cannot access Samba
My WXPP PC cannot login to the Samba server although the Win2K and W9x PC's can. The XPP system has joined the domain, but when I rebooted the PC and tried logging in via the domain it complained about not having permission or an account which I've verified and have redone several times, but still I cannot login. Anyone have any information on how to fix this. --

Solaris Winbind causes problem with SSH.
Hello, I have been testing Samba 3.0.21 (rc1, rc2) on Solaris 8 and Solaris 9 compiled with ADS support. In my testing smbd seems to work with a Windows 2000 ADS and Windows XP workstations in a basic setup where winbindd is running in default mode "netlogon proxy only" (but winbind is NOT enabled in /etc/nsswitch.conf). When I configure winbind to use idmap and enable winbind in

How to solve A'A=S for A
It is not clear to me that one can. If the singular value decomposition of A is the triple product P d Q', then the singular value decomposition of A'A=S is Q d^2 Q'. The information about the orthonormal matrix P is lost, is it not? ********************************************************** Cliff Lunneborg, Professor Emeritus, Statistics & Psychology, University of Washington,

rsync not prompting for username, only password
Hi guys, can anyone suggest why, when I connect to my rsync server, I'm not prompted for a username and password but instead I'm only prompted for a password? I have "auth users = username" set in /etc/rsyncd.conf and a corresponding entry in /etc/rsyncd.secrets but still rsync only asks for a password.
