[LLVMdev] Vector LLVM extension v.s. DirectX Shaders
Dear all:
To write a compiler for Microsoft Direct3D shaders from our hardware,
I have a program which translates the Direct3D shader assembly to LLVM
assembly. I added several intrinsics for this purpose.
It's a vector ISA and has some special instructions like:
* rcp (reciprocal)
* frc (the fractional portion of each input component)
* dp4 (dot product)
* exp (exponential)
* max, min

Dovecot 1.2.12 maildir format using :LAYOUT=fs (my Mail dir came from KDE)
I can't remember the permissions of the /Mail/ directory because I haven't
been concerned with it too much until now. I think they were user:user or
user:mail. Now a new mail ends up 600 root:mail. (in alternate directories)
When I start my mutt client to the imap server it gets an error for any folder

Access problems whit NT4 PDC and samba 3
Hi List,
I installed Samba 3.0.0beta3 on RH 8.
I'm trying to make a shared directory so I can access from M$ machines using
NT users ( from my PDC ).
I got to join the Domain and I can see the users from my domain (in the
Linux), I can even login as one...
I used the RTFM "Samba-HOWTO-Collection" to do this...
But I can't open the shared directory, not from any M$ client (or

Seeking Rails Developers in Bay Area (Marin County)
Hi There,
We have a couple open positions for Rails developers in Marin County,
just across from Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. For a
variety of reasons, we''d prefer folks from a Java background, but
mostly we need smart, agreeable, disciplined, and self-directed.
Here''s the full job description. Please use the address at the end
of the message rather than

True to all big projects and we both knew this would happen. :)

You'll see that this is not an LLVM trend, but a world wide trend and
that's not a bad thing.
It is, and I wholeheartedly agree, a...

...er than that--independent scenes try in
vain to exclude the masses from ruining their little parties, and
technology firms and record companies sign exclusive deals with
each other. In this day and age, it's impossible--and even
counterproductive--to continue the exclusionary mentality that
has permeated the record industry up to this point.
There are too many new approaches being taken to limit music
distribution to just one method. Likewise, it no longer makes
sense to exclude fans from accessing music the music they want,
since they're going to get what they want whether or not the
labels l...
