One of prerequisites is have clean codebase, so a refactorer can be simple and created formatting inconsistencies can be eliminated by formatter. My plan to keep codebase clean is first run a cleanup systemwide, then keep it by hook/ periodicaly rerunning cleanup. I put it for now here. https://github.com/neleai/stylepp I ran a scripts

Now I must scan all messages, but it's not a good

There is problem of rsync with options --hard-links --inplace.
There is the problem which I discribed here https://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=12820. rsync does not break hard-link into destination if hard-link has be broken in source with option inplace. The problem remains in the latest version of rsync? -- View this message in context: http://samba.2283325.n4.nabble.com/There-is-problem-of-rsync-with-options-hard-links-inplace-tp4714872.html Sent from

Win2k(IIS5) + Samba weirdness
Hi all; I don't know if this is a specificly a Samba problem, so appologies if this is a little OT. Anyhow, I have a Windows 2000 Server (SP2) running IIS5 hosting a number of web sites. The content itself is housed on a RH 7.1 Linux box running Samba 2.2.2, which Windows mounts. Now, occasionly when going anywhere beneath the root of a web site IIS reports a 404 error (NTFileMon

alpha4 and zlib-plugin?
Hi, I saw the zlib-plugin reference in the alpha4 ChangeLog notes are searched the list for info about it. The only reference I found was from Timo back in March 2005. Questions: 1) Is this going to become a standard part of version 1.0? 2) Any plans or ability to make it read/write to a gzipped mailbox, or is this possible? Or will it always be read-only? 3) How does a mailbox get gzipped?

Multiple Internet Connection Issue
Up here in British Columbia, Canada the major ISPs (telco and cable company) have started to enforce caps on bandwidth consumption per month. Other smaller ISPs have sprung out of the woodwork and offer ''unlimited'' consumption but the problem is that the quality of their connection is noticeably inferior to that of the major ISPs. In what way could I configure Linux

Best phone for easy provisioning
Does anyone have any recommendations for a phone that has easy to understand/implement central provisioning? I've used CISCO 79XX phones, and they're great (but too expensive). I like Grandstream phones, but their provisioning sucks. What is everybody else using in large environments where individual config is not an option? ---------------------------------------- Rod Bacon

Ext3 vs. Reiser?
Hi! I was just wondering how Ext3 and Reiserfs compare. When I reinstalled my server (because of a stupid hacker) I took the opportunity to change to ReiserFS. And I have to say it's really much faster than Ext3. I don't have benchmarks, but for example, stuff like "make dep" on the linux kernel is much faster (even though I had enabled write cache when I was using ext3). So

How to check an inactive slave in a bond?
I''m using bonding in active-fallback mode to guarantee maximum availability on some critical servers. The mii mode is active so I can detect things like dead card and/or unplugged cable even on the inactive slave. But how do I check that the inactive slave is properly configured/connected to the switch/vlan? I ask this question because it has just bitten me in a part I''ll keep

OT: Why VM?
I have been working off and on with Xen and KVM on a couple of test hosts for that past year or so and while now everything seems to function as expected, more or less, I find myself asking the question: Why? We run our own servers at our own sites for our own purposes. We do not, with a few small exceptions, host alien domains. So, while rapidly provisioning or dynamically expanding a
