How to specify SwitchTower SSH port
Hi ! Following Ezra's suggestions on http://brainspl.at/pages/perfect_vps, I changed the port sshd listens to. I'm trying to setup SwitchTower, and I don't know how to set the port. Books, other resources for new Rails VPS sysadmin
Hello! Since Virtual Private Server seems to be the only way to run Rails apps without problems, so in the future I will need to become a Linux sysadmin. I plan on using debian (as per Ezra''s instructions in <http:// brainspl.at/pages/perfect_vps>). Rails VPS sysadmin is not the same as general Linux sysadmin, since only webserver, db and email are of interest (and of course all Rails stuff). So probably general Linux sysadmin books/resources are too much for me. Or not? Tell me... Are there any books (I am not cheapskate, I buy...

Howto configure Lighttpd with fastcgi on Ubuntu?
Hi it''s Noobie Thompson, new to linux and to rails. Has anyone configured Lighttpd with fastcgi to run rails on Ubuntu? I am useing Dapper (flight 5). I have php5 with php5-cgi (downloaded via Synaptic). I have got lighttpd installed and running but I am unable to get the fastcgi/rails side going. I get message to the effect that I must recompile php with Fastcgi enabled. Can anyone help
