Hi list, I'm trying to figure out how to install a service under wine? Under windows I just open a dos terminal and type "application -install" to get it appear in the services list (in 2K server). Has anyone a clue on how to achieve this in Wine??? Any help woud be appreciated! Benja

I've tried installing wine using synaptic on ubuntu, also compiling form source and a couple of other ways but never get a ./wine/config file ? Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Hello, I'm using Linux for about two months now. Even before switching to Linux I have heard of Wine. I got my system running relativelly stable (I use Slackware 10.2, kernel-2.6.14 and KDE 3.4), but still have some issues - sound being one of them. But that's my problem. I'd like to contribute to the wine project somehow. Perhaps starting as a test user for some application.
