I see that there seems to be patches being accepted...
Please consider committing these two:
You should be able to cherry pick them from my syslinux repo at

Sounds like we should change the "and cx" mask to 5 so that if either EHDD
support or LBA is announced by the bios, the correct EHDD path will be
taken.

TLDR:
If I could get a second pair of eyes on this, I'll turn them into a

Would really like to see 6.04-pre2 or newer announced with a widely

that happen?

It's too bad we can't tell from the TFTP request if it's a UEFI or

lilesystem size limit samba on 64bit 2.6 kernel vs. clients win2k/winxp ?
I had an incredibly hard time finding any documentation on filesystem size
limits for samba on 64bit linux with 2.6 kernel exporting to 32bit windows 2003
and windows-xp by googling.
The closest I could get to was that cifs filesystem size correlates to ntfs
filesystem size and therefore there would be a 64TB limit. Are there additional
limits within the software stack that I should be aware of?

Making TIMEOUT work?
I have problems getting the TIMEOUT value work the same way LILO/GRUB
does it.. ie it should wait until the timeout and then use the default
value. However, it goes straight for the default value without waiting
a single second (and a TIMEOUT value of 500 should mean 50 seconds,
as it counts in 1/10th of a second, right?)

Linux Standalone Server Suggestions for R
Hi All,
My group is looking for any suggestions on what to purchase to
achieve the most powerful number crunching system that $50k can buy.
The main application that will be used is R so input on what hardware
benefits R most will be appreciated. The requirements are that it be
a single standalone server (i.e. not a cluster solution), and it that
must be able to run unix/linux. If

* ALL: Add an API for COMBOOT/COM32 images. See comboot.doc
for details. There is a C development environment for
COM32 being created; it should be ready at some point in
the future.

strange problem with pxelinux - Config file size limit?
Hi,
I have some strange problem with pxelinux. I have a quite big config file (>8K), with much labels
(29), long append's and some texts on the F-Keys (F1-F5). This works as expected, pxelinux
loads all labels without a peep.
Now I added 'kbdmap kbd-de' to this config file - and I get strange errors all over. pxelinux
reports several times 'Unknown keyword in config file.'

RedHat kickstart with PXELINUX
We are attempting to setup an automated system to build some Linux
systems. We have utilised the PXELINUX bootloader after encountering
the PXE 512Kb limit with bootp.
We now have another issue which you may have already run into. In the
DHCP configuration we specify pxelinux.0 as the bootfile, this works
reasonable well, we call the Redhat vmlinuz and initrd.img files
