[PULL]: tip/cpus4096 updates
Hi Ingo, Please pull a few more cpus4096 changes. Most are fairly lightweight with the biggest change being to use cpumask_var_t's for the domain and pending_mask cpumask's in irq_desc. It also deals with this cpu_evtchn_mask bss space bump: 65536 +2031616 2097152 +3100% cpu_evtchn_mask(.bss) Everything merges into tip/master cleanly. Thanks! Mike The following changes since commit 36c401a44abcc389a00f9cd14892c9cf9bf0780d: Ingo Molnar (1):...

2.6.29 git, resume from ram broken on thinkpad
...first bad commit commit 7f7ace0cda64c99599c23785f8979a072e118058 Author: Mike Travis <travis at sgi.com> Date: Sat Jan 10 21:58:08 2009 -0800 cpumask: update irq_desc to use cpumask_var_t Impact: reduce memory usage, use new cpumask API. Replace the affinity and pending_masks with cpumask_var_t's. This adds to the significant size reduction done with the SPARSE_IRQS changes. The added functions (init_alloc_desc_masks & init_copy_desc_masks) are in the include file so they can be inlined (and optimized out for the !CONFIG_CPUMASKS_OFFSTACK case...

High CPU temp, suspend problem - xen 4.1.5-pre, linux 3.7.x
Hi, I''ve still have problems with ACPI(?) on Xen. After some system startup or resume CPU temperature goes high although all domUs (and dom0) are idle. On "good" system startup it is about 50-55C, on "bad" - above 67C (most time above 70C). I''ve noticed difference in C-states repored by Xen (attached files). On "bad" startups in addition suspend
