CentOS 5 & USB Kickstart?
Is anybody else having problems with CentOS 5 not loading the usb
drivers for kickstart installations?
I'm passing "linux ks=hd:sdb1:/ks.cfg," but I get a message saying it
can't find the ks.cfg file and I should enter another path. I use the
exact same boot options with CentOS 4 without any problems.
What am I missing with CentOS 5? Thanks for any tips.

Bind Module
Anyone know where I can find a good chrooted named module for centos?
Named as chroot is ugly... soft and hard links everywhere...

h323 help
We've configured ooh323 on our 1.4.6 asterisk server.
We've looked at various sites for tips, most recently
http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1243330&page=3. The module
seems to load properly. When we do a tcpdump, we see traffic flowing
between the asterisk server and the Avaya communication manager.
However, we're not geting phone calls connect. Since we do not manage

serial console config package?
I've been installing CentOS via PXE and using a serial console
interface. The installation works great. I notice that during the
install process, the following line gets added automatically to
/etc/inittab:
co:2345:respawn:/sbin/agetty ttyS0 9600 vt100-nav
Which package does this? Is it kudzu? Thanks for any insights.

Winamp plugin; http streaming
...ferThread function:
bytesRead =3D recv(pThreadData->tcpSocket, pThreadData->circularBuffer + =
pThreadData->circularBufferEnd, 1, 0);
to read as follows:
bytesRead =3D recv(pThreadData->tcpSocket, pThreadData->circularBuffer + =
pThreadData->circularBufferEnd, bytesToRead, 0);
peeds up streaming noticeably, as the plug-in doesn't spend half the =
time streaming in the file 1 byte at a time.
Comments are appreciated.

I thought I had discovered a firmware difference (or something)
because I couldn't get the battery tests to run. But then I realized
that I wasn't running the actual test under the right user, with the
right permissions. Duh. So I then went back

How is this for a conundrum?
I have three Tripp-Lite SMART5001U's running in the same one rack,
attached to the same host running NUT. I am running the tripplite_usb
driver thanks to some crafty hacking of Charles (thank you sir!). Now
you may ask, "hey dip****, why have THREE 1U UPS's stacked up, when
you can have a single larger one with the capacity of three?". Don't
