Statistical / data mining methods in R and not in SAS?
Hi, and sorry for asking such an unspecific question.
Does anybody know of statistical / data mining methods that are available in R
that are not in SAS ? With SAS I mean the SAS System Version 9.4 and SAS
Enterprise Miner. I don't expect a complete list, just two or three examples
or hints where and what to look for.
I found some older comparisons, and the R methods mentioned there

email notification on missed call
Hello,
what is the best way to implement email notification on missed call ?
So far, I have been using a solution that I hacked together. I create a
hangup-handler, inside which I check for "${DIALSTATUS}" and use System():
System(/bin/echo ... | /usr/bin/mail ....)
I have pasted the block here, for better formating:

My question is:

Rails/Windows Guru Needed
Hey All,
I''ve just got back from a great meeting with a potential new client.
Everything was going so well - I knocked back their old-school project
plans, sold Rails to them in less than 5 minutes. All cool.
Then, 5 minutes before the end they say ''Oh and by the way - I know we
said we''re happy to host on any platform suitable, but there''s been a

Delivering locally through the Submission Server

OK, so I gather that the Submission Server cannot do that (yet).
My suggestion for a future version would then be: How about running dovecot-lda, if the user happens to be local, or a local alias? Or at least
provide some sort of pattern matching: anything matching *@example.com , pass the message to

sharing modules scalably
Hi,
[First, a quick introduction... I''m one of the sysadmins at Koumbit.org,
and we''re evaluating puppet for managing our modest server farm. I''ve
already started writing recipes and manifests and intend to share those
with this community. Part of my time worked on this will be directly
paid by Koumbit.]
So we''ve got a few half-finished puppet modules here:

Non-meritocratic t.&a. projects will be damned. Re: I am leaving llvm
What unmitigated bullshit. Your attempt at logic is laughable. You hold up
threadbare stereotypes as the norm, when in reality they are little more
than characters straight out of Central Casting. The "genius hermit who
can't associate with people" is dumb and false. It's meant to excuse
behavior that is unacceptable, when in reality a person who cannot interact
with people is

Hello everyone. Please keep discussion civil and productive.
I’d suggest moving general discussions of social behavior and norms off the llvm-dev list. These discussions are generally quite off topic and draw more heat than light. I’d prefer it if we all just move on.
I obviously do not know who “unnamed poster” is, but I am also specifically concerned about people who are not LLVM
