6.3-RELEASE-p3 recurring panics on multiple SM PDSMi+
We have 10 SuperMicro PDSMi+ 5015M-MTs that are panic'ing every few
days. This started shortly after upgrade from 6.2-RELEASE to
6.3-RELEASE with freebsd-update.
Other than switching to a debugging kernel, a little sysctl tuning,
and patching with freebsd-update, they are stock. The debugging
kernel was built from sour...

Supermicro PDSMI failed to boot on fresh RELENG_7/amd64
Colleagues,
3 of 4 times this machine failed to boot, panicing somewhere in late kernel
initialization phase (before /sbin/init is executed)
I have serial console and KDB enabled, so can do experiments.
Last two crashes:
Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode
fault virtual address = 0x8
fault code = supervisor read data, page not present

Xen-3.1 on Ubuntu 7.10 keeps crashing
...to build a DomU I always crash. Tryied it with LVM and also
the guide at:
http://www.howtoforge.com/ubuntu-7.10-server-install-xen-from-ubuntu-repositories
I changed memory-cards but still no results.
Most of the crashes happen when doing a xen-create-image at debootstrap.
My system:
Supermicro PDSMI+, with Dual Intel P4
2 SATA -disk in software Raid-1
Has anyone made a succesful setup with this sort of hardware?
Or is Xen-3.1 having problems with software raid?

The system is actually a SuperMicro 5015M-MT+, PDSMI+, Xeon 3060, 4GB, 4x 500G.
Booting it natively does not show any problems.
A few build/bfu cycles before this problem actually occured I enabled
the AHCI SATA mode in the BIOS and modified the system configuration
to using the SATA disk instances. Could this have triggered something
the above pani...

Kernel panic - not syncing: CPU context corrupt
...formation I should give you and most important how
to get it from the system, because we do not have experience with CentOS
(only FreeBSD).
I would be very surprised if this is hardware related. We use the same
hardware for several years, and run FreeBSD on it very successfully. It
is a SuperMicro PDSMI+ motherboard with 3ware raid controller
(8006-2LP). CPU is Xeon 3040 1.8 Ghz EM64 2MB 1066FSB (65W). Memory is
DDR 2 Trancend 2048MB ECC Unbuffered 800.
Error message on console is in "Additional Information".
I am hoping that I should switch off some setting in CentOS to fix this,
but...

Stuck in geli
Rarely, a geli partition I have freezes a process in bufwait state. It
occurs after an ATA timeout message:
Aug 5 03:47:13 thor kernel: ad10: TIMEOUT - WRITE_DMA retrying (1 retry left) LBA=219028637
The geli partition resides on an Intel MatrixRAID RAID1 mirror using the
ICH9R chipset (Asus P5K-E/WIFI). Killing (even -9) the process does not
work. Rebooting is the only solution, yet the
