...k for me. This is probably "overkill", but_it_just_works :-) Adobe Reader is only a "reader" as I assumed it would be. Some PDF readers can also fill in forms, do editing, etc., however not Adobe Reader. Another solution is to use a free online service, such as http://www.pdfescape.com/ and upload the file, fill in the form and/or edit the file, and then download it again. Any have trouble with acroread taking up massive cpu and memory? I exited my Firefox browser and the lil bastard was still hogging up my resources. Took up 69% of 4GB, and wouldn't let go, until a kill -9 showed'em, have to do it every time I open a pdf in firefox. Any use Xpdf or something else?

I'm having an issue with workstation opening pdf's with firefox. I have the adobe plugin installed and enabled in firefox but firefox will only let me save the file. Under applications I have tried using the doc reader and adobe to associate pdf's with firefox with no luck. I am running firefox 3.0.4. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you -- Bo Lynch
