sampling and nls formula
Hello,
I am trying to bootstrap a function that extracts the log-likelihood value and the nls coefficients from an nls object. I want to sample my dataset (pdd) with replacement and for each sampled dataset, I want to run nls and output the nls coefficients and the log-likelihood value.
Code:

Detecting Long PDD
Hi List,
I've had some issues with some VoIP providers where either:
1 - There is massive PDD but finally the call goes through
2 - There is massive PDD but the call gets rejected anyways
I was wondering if there was a way to automatically detect such
behaviors when it happens (maybe with a script or something) so I can
take the faulty providers out of the routing and maybe automatically...

high PDD
Hi,
I am using Asterisk 1.4.17 for my C4 routing but I am experiencing a high pdd of around 20 seconds. Could you please help me to reduce it and what could be the reason. Thanks

Log SRC & DST IP address and PDD
Anyone got a way to pull the Source and Destination IP addresses for a call
so they can be logged in a CDR and or CEL? Also anyone got a slick way for
registring PDD on calls?

smbpasswd -r pdd not working
Hi,
I am running Samba 2.2.1 on a Redhat 7.2 machine and have the following
in smb.conf:
workgroup = AGS_NT
security = domain
password server = mocha bigblue
encrypt passwords = yes
everything else is default. "mocha" is the PDC and is a NT4 box".
The machine has joined the domain with "smbpasswd -j AGS_NT".

test call generator
Hello everyone
I am trying to look for a free test call generator that will get me some
stats like PDD, ASR and call quality etc on each route. As well as do test
at every interval too
If you know something like this please enlighten me.

Oddity with internet access and R 11.0 with Sophos firewall and Windoze XP - solved

IAX2 trunking scalability

consistent I've installed the same kernel, latest stable zapata + asterisk
on both ends.
I've done some tests with about 1/2 E1 (15 channels) worth of calls and so
far it's been working good - and the call statistics (ASR, ACD, PDD) are
roughtly the same. So far, so good!
Now the big question is: how far can I expect it to scale? Has anybody
successfully mounted IAX2 trunking with 3-4 E1s worth of traffic?
Your experience and feedback is appreciated.

How to get slope estimates from a four parameter logistic with SSfpl?
Hi,
I was hoping to get some advice on how to derive estimates of slopes from four parameter logistic models fit with SSfpl.
I fit the model using:

I am interested in the values of the lower and upper asymptotes (parameters a and b), but also in the gradient of the line at the inflection point (c) which I assume tells me my rate of

Oddity: I seem to have a variable in a dataframe that doesn't show in colnames() - can anyone advise?

About MS DFS
Dear sirs!
I kindly ask you to help me with the following problem.
I need to mount MS DFS tree Linux filesystem.
I have:
Linux Slackware 9.0.
Kernel 2.4.21 compiling with support SMB file system.
Samba 2.2.8a compiling with --with-msdfs
In order to mount I type:
mount -t smbfs -o

Inter-Digit delay when dialing out
Okay, I see that there is no way to shorten the inter-digit delay when
we dial out DTMF. The reason I need this is because when dialing a
two-stage call, the PDD can be shortened dramatically while still
working fine, and that opens whole new world of business. But many
people confused dialing-out with receiving DTMF, which is not what we
are concerned with.
