Design library
Dear friends
Hello
I'm a PhD student in Edinburgh University and interested in survival
analysis. By chance, I found design library in Splus software. I have
some questions about it and
it's highly appreciated if you can help me.
In its help (Design library help) I found the topics(not the commands),
which are available in the main software.

Has there been any change to this function, or the way repositories
should be organised, that I have missed in the NEWS file?
For example, a package file called FLCore_1.0.7.tar.gz is located in
http://flr-project/R/src/contrib/ and the relevant entry in the PCAKGEs
file looks like this:
Package: FLCore
Version: 1.0.7
Depends: R (>=2.2.0), methods, graphics, stats, lattice
but install.packages from R 2.2.0 is not getting to it.
In contrast, The FLCore_1.0.3.3.tar.gz file, with entry

Loading Excel file into Limma
Dear mailing group,
This is my first time here. Glad to have this resource!
I am currently trying to load an Excel file into R (limma package loaded)
using the source(*name of directory*) command, but it cannot open the file.
I renamed the file as .R and .RData, to no avail. The Excel data contains
one gene name per row and about 100 data points per gene (columns).
