Need comparison between PBXtra, Trixbox, Thirdlane, Druid, Aheeva etc.
Hi,
For a customer, I am looking for a good and reliable Asterisk based system.
Five servers will be installed at different locations and will be linked
together with each other. This system will work as a call center as well. It
has to be a stable and reliable. Customer also needs GUIs for system
administration and agents call activities.
He also wants video conferencing
Please help me select

Strange State 6 on Channel X
...strange state 6 when i make
a call into the system, the system claims to answer the call, and do
the things in the dial plan, but I just hear ringing on the phone I'm
calling in from.
I am using a Sangoma A200 4 Port Analog card.
my wanrouter version: WANPIPE Release: 3.3.6
asterisk -V: PBXtra Core fon_o_1.2.17
Any ideas?

Turnkey alternatives to fonality or switchvox?
...a lot to
be desired... The idea of the storing settings compact flash is nice,
although sometimes they choose not to stick. All in all, we're thinking
about returning it in favor of something a bit more tested (and easier
on an asterisk newbie). :)
Currently, potentials include Fonality's PBXtra & Switchvox PBX because
they are turnkey in nature AND have ultra-friendly admin interfaces
(read: highly customizable * implementation without touching the
command-line - nice for a quick & powerful deployment).
Anyone out there know of alternatives to either of these products?

looking for input on broadband router with QoS and VPN support
Hi,
We're installing an * box next week (pbxtra from fonality) and I'm
trying to come up with a solution for remote users that want a phone in
their home. I need VPN and QoS capability, wireless support would be a
nice to have. Ethernet handoff is fine, i don't need integrated dsl or
cable modem...
