Commands to upgrade to latest Libpri? can I upgrade without touching Asterisk?
Hi Guys, I have to upgrade to latest Libpri 1.4.10.2 due to an existing bug in the current 1.4.10 version. I am running Asterisk 1.4.x (in fact it is a PBXinaFLASH system). How can I upgrade to the latest Libpri? Do I need to re-install Asterisk? Won't that break the box? Can I simply do this to upgrade: *rm /usr/src/libpri/*.** *rm -rf /usr/src/libpri/** Download the new libpri and put files in folder /usr/src/libpri/ *cd /usr/src/libpri &&amp...

10.0 CallerID question
Hi List, Another dumb conversion question (I hope). I installed 10.0 and copied my 1.4 configuration files over. With a few tweaks everything works great except for 1 feature that I specifically went to 10.0 for. When I do an attended transfer, I still get the receptionists caller ID on the transferred phone instead of the incoming callerID. My assumption is that there is some

They are looking for a system which does the following for about 5 agents, exactly as they have described it. 1. Take incoming calls 2. Put them on hold if there is no one to handle the call immediately, or transfer them to an available

Question about voip.ms service.
Hey; I figured I would ask here as I seem to get better results. I am using the voip.ms <http://voip.ms/> VoIP service. I have no problem configuring my Asterisk server 1.8x to dial out with my Softphone. HOWEVER, for some reason, I cannot get inbound. All that I hear is a busy signal. I know this is not much for you folks to go on, but what would be a good place to start

Deleting some of the CDR data - How to do it safely?
Hi Guys, I am looking to delete some of the CDR logged by Asterisk in asteriskcdrdb in a PbxinaFlash system running Asterisk 1.4.x The CDR records to deleted are probably a big chunk and spread out all through the database but I basically want to delete all calls that came in through a specific DID. I think they all show as SIP/did_number I don't want to break the system or break the reporti...
