Samba + ldap + cannot find domain
.... Am I missing something obvious?
You may be, but how can we tell, we cannot see your smb.conf

Samba + ldap + cannot find domain
...nf. X is listed in smb.conf
as the netbios name of the server.
This makes no sense to me. Am I missing something obvious?
Log.smbd tells me a connection is being opened to the ldap server, and that
it was querying dc=A,dc=B (all correct), (&(objectClass=sambaDomain)
(sambaDomainName=X). pbd_init_ldapsam then throws a warning that it could
not get the domain info, which makes complete sense to me because it's
looking for the wrong domain name.
Why would Samba be looking for the server's netbios name as the domain name?
They're clearly correct in my smb.conf.
