Failing multi-platform, I'll stick with Twinkle on Linux, and gladly take suggestions for Windows -- OSS if possible, but payware is acceptable. How do I connect an existing or new Access database with Ruby on Rails? I am new to Ruby on Rails and a tutorial I am going through mentions using MySQL but I don''t have MySQL and only work with MS Access. Is MySQL available for free on the web? GUI for Asterisk Configuration
Fellow Asterisk users, I want to make configuration of Asterisk less of a chore. I noticed that there are quite a few GUI based configuration tools posted on the wiki. I am curious if there is a consensus on which is the best, most stable, easiest to install etc. Thanks, Von Belser

MS Access Runtime
Hi, Please forgive me if this is a stupid post. I'm quite new to Linux, wine etc. A quick bit of background. I have taken over as IT Manager at a company. Wine for command line only
Hi; I think I have a very simple question but I can't find an answer to it. I need to run one command line windows executable with no dlls on my MacPro. Runs fine under Parallels/xp, but I would like to run it under the bash shell script from the Mac/Unix terminal. I "installed" the Darwine x86 package by copying it to the applications folder. Not surprisingly, not having it

Patching XP clients on Samba PDC
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, Does anyone have a good suggestion for patching XP clients on a Samba PDC domain? I've tried using autoit and sysinternal's psexec to write a script to do this but this doesn't work well because the computer has to be active and our machines lock the machine if it's not active in 15 minutes. I hate having to log onto every
