Applying a Patch.
...s good, I shouldn't hassle Jerry about minor stuff. I've never applied a patch. What does it entail, I'm sure being a rocket scientist isn't part of it? I been to the site and seen the patches, they look like scripts that can be run, is this the case? How? Do I just type # ./patchname ? Please can you give me an outline of what I must do. Thanks, Trevor. ================================== One volunteer is as strong as ten hired men. ================================== -------------- next part -------------- HTML attachment scrubbed and removed

UK Callerid bug #1719 & TDM400p
...d seen a patch that'd gone into cvs, but maybe I was just imagining things ;) Should this patch work against current cvs? Of the 3 files 2 are .patch and one is .diff - what's the difference between them, and how should I apply the diff (at the moment I'm doing "patch -p1 < patchname.patch" for the others which seems to work, but I'm doing this slightly blind and I'm not quite sure if this is correct. patch installed wine
Hey guys, I'm pretty new to this stuff, like wine and linux, I'm actually running Ubuntu 10.04 on my machine and I'm wondering, since I love the game League of legends, if there is a possibility to patch an existing installation of wine. I found this link: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=19141 where it says, that I have to patch 2 files and then

[PATCH][Linux] gnttab: make dma address conversion logic of gnttab dma arch specific.
...gnttab_dma_map_page() doesn''t make sense with auto translate physmap mode enabled. To address those issues, split those logic from gnttab_dma_map_page() and gnttab_dma_unmap_page(), and put it into arch specific files. This patch doesn''t change the already existing x86 logic. [LLVMdev] Win32 COFF Support
Hi All, I have created a minimally functional Win32 COFF Exporter using the new MC framework. I made some minor changes to other libraries to allow me to plug it in without building it as part of the LLVM project. I wanted to share it but wasn't sure how to go about doing so, so I have attached the code to this message. Any feedback on would be appreciated. -------------- next part

PlayOnLinux/PlayOnMac 4.0.16, wineprefix logging system
...prefix must be assigned to a 64bits wine version. - Sometimes, we need to patch wine. In that case, please do not report bugs, any test on AppDB with these version! They are experimental.. It is very easy to recognize patched wine version. Indeed, POL wineversions names follow this rule : VERSION-patchname. For exemple "$HOME/.PlayOnLinux/wine/darwin-x86/1.4/" is not a patched wine version, but $HOME/.PlayOnLinux/wine/darwin-x86/1.4-ubisoft" is a patched wine version. - PlayOnLinux installs the good gecko version for each wine version - Finally, wine is automatically built when a ne...

[PATCH] Make XEN_DOMCTL_destroydomain hypercall continuable.
...XEN_DOMCTL_destroydomain hypercall continuable. XEN_DOMCTL_destroydomain hypercall frees domain resources, especially it frees all pages of the domain. When domain memory is very large, it takes too long resulting in soft lockup warning message. To prevent softlokup, make the hypercall continuable. [PATCH] make balloon driver not return pages which are in [xen_start_info->nr_pages, max_pfn] on ia64
make balloon driver not return pages which are in [xen_start_info->nr_pages, max_pfn] on ia64. On ia64 memory might be assigned sparsely. In that case xen_start_info->nr_pages and max_pfn doesn''t match while pages which are in [xen_start_info->nr_pages, max_pfn] are used. -- yamahata _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list
