Has anybody got some experience with connecting machines running Windows3.1 or WfWG (3.11) to Samba? We would like to run a small lab network with user accounts and a shared printer off the samba box. Samba is running fine and there's no problem to connect to it from the Win95/WinNT machines... ...omehow the data flows through the ATM network but during the establishment of the connections (eg: during the mapping of a Linux area into a PC network drive) Ethernet is used. Disconnecting the Ethernet cables and trying to map a network drive the procedure takes several minutes (3 or 4), then the passwork is asked, a few minutes more pass and finally evrything works correctly.
