parmat error from MASS?

couldn't solve, i changed a parameter that used a new part of a routine
in our PVA package's code:
else if (ES == "ParDraw") {
require(MASS)
(previously, ES was "MatrixDraw" and MASS wasn't called for)
now, i get the following error:
Error in apply(parmat, 1, mean) : dim(X) must have a positive length
there is no code in the PVA package routines that has a line that says
"apply(parmat, 1, mean)" or parmat or the format "(____, 1, mean)".
that's why i think the error has something to do with MASS. i tried to
update MASS,...

AD Model Builder now freely available
Hi All,
Following Mike Praeger's posting on this list,
I'm happy to pass on that AD Model Builder is now freely available from
the ADMB Foundation.

Two areas where AD Model builder would be especially useful to R users
are multi-parmater smooth optimization as in larg scale maximum
likelihood estimation and the analysis of general nonlinear random
effects models.

Listbox in R
...ce I would like to create listboxes in a "for -loop".
When I try to loop - all the listboxes are displayed simultaneously and
nothing works properly - any comment on how to avoid this. I need the
listboxes to displayed one at a time.
I need to set some flag. I am hoping there are some a parmaters in the
'tkbutton' which will be helpful.
Any comments/suggestions are welcome.

dma_alloc_coherent issue with tg3 in x86_64 build
During boot of dom0, I get the following. Box is remote, so I''m
now waiting for proxy power button pusher ;-) tg3 init fails doing
dma_alloc_coherent (I assume this is from tg3_init_one -> tg3_test_dma ->
pci_alloc_consistent -> dma_alloc_coherent). Looks like an issue with
the amount of memory in dom0. Is this known?
