domain language?
RSpeckers: I went with RSpec instead of Systir because I downloaded and installed the former first. (I know that''s not exactly a ringing endorsement! ;-) I want to compete with FIT and Fitnesse, like this: http://www.zeroplayer.com/cgi-bin/wiki?TestFlea#tropism (Click on a Green Bar to distend one test case.) I want a domain-specific language in the parchment-colored area on the

Vista Roaming Profiles and GPMC.MSC
Hi All Our company got a Windows Vista installed laptop even though we ordered it with XP. Now I'm faced with the task of integrating the beast into our samba controlled domain. Something I was hoping to delay for some time. Our PDC is samba 2.2.8a with openldap 2.1.4 We also have a Domain Member Server running samba 3.0.10. Best procedure for migration?
Looking in both Samba3 by example and in Samba HowTo has come up empty. There is a chapter in Howto on migrating from 2.2.8, but it mostly describes the changes in 3 from 2. Nothing on best practices on how to do it. I have two servers running samba 2.2.8a. on FreeBSD 4.5 I have two new (new to me anyway... 2nd hand netfinity boxes) running FreeBSD 6.1 along with a fresh install from

SORT(DATE) and missing Date headers
Hello, Occasionally, I get mail that's missing a Date header. The usual suspects are iTunes weekly mailings and NYTimes email-to-a-friend articles. I use qmail, which doesn't "fix" these malformed emails by adding a Date header (like Sendmail does), so when they get to my mailbox, they're just as badly formed as they were when they were sent, which is to say, they have

Rack, Camping 2.0++
=== 1. Camping on Rack === I''ve just finished rewriting Camping to use Rack in the "core". I got rid of (a little less) than 1kB in camping.rb and removed lots of un-necessary files (lib/server/*.rb, fastcgi.rb & mongrel.rb). bin/camping does now only provide WEBrick, Mongrel and console-support and should only be used in development. It uses Rack::ShowExceptions to catch
