How to use same h323-conf-id in incoming and outgoing legs?
Hello,
I am pretty new with Asterisk and I am using it as an H323 gateway.I
would like to keep the same h323-conf-id in the outgoing leg as in the
incoming leg.
So far I have only tried inaccessnetworks' oh323 module, but I think
this is a more generic issue. My extensions.conf is pretty simple:
[oh323_context]
exten => _XXXXXXXXXX,1,Dial(oh323/${EXTEN},30,tr)
So my question is the

exit status 12 with large files
Hello.
I use rsync version 2.4.6, protocol version 24 on a RH7.2 machine. The
purpose is mirroring a Red Hat repository.
All works fine, *except* for really big files. ISO images (~650MB) are a
good example. Whenever I don't exclude *.iso, I get the following:

rsync between mac and network drive
I would like to use rsync to backup my Mac to a network drive, and am
hoping someone on the list can help straighten me out.
Since the network drive can't run any programs, I am first mounting
the drive onto the Mac via SMB as /Volumes/backup. When I run:
rsync -av --delete --no-whole-file --progress /Users/bob/Documents /
Volumes/backupbob
everything seems to copy successfully.

Destination Permissions on Windows XP
Hello all,
This is my first post to the group, so please go easy on me.
I've setup a cwRsync server on a Windows 2003 Server and an XP client.
I have setup rsync to copy a directory from the server to the client,
and the files transfer perfectly. The only problem is that the
permissions on the destination are wrong. I want the permissions on the
destination to end up being the

Rsync on 3 places
Hi all,
I'm newbie with rsync so I would like to ask more
experienced users for help. I have following task:
I have 3 places (A,B and C). Place A is "main" place.
I want to use rsync to synchronize all data from place
A to places B and C (only one-way from A to B and C).
I tried to write simple command but it looks bad. Just
for imagination place A have over 50 GB of data. I

Timeout, server not responding
I have several WinXP laptops which have been backing up to a FreeBSD 6.0
server via rsync for a good while now. Now one laptop is giving me
grief. I am running cwRsync and invoking a remote rsync daemon via a
shell command:
cmd /K "rsync.exe -avr --rsh=ssh --progress --stats --delete /cygdrive/d/"My
Documents" user@server::user_data"
I get this error locally:

How to Playback a file continuously during conversation?
hello all,
I would like to create an application where a file is played repeatedly
in the background while two parties are having a conversation. Does
anyone know of a way to achieve this?
I have been looking into the ManagerAPI to redirect the call to a meetme
room. Then I try to introduce a third party that will just play the file
continuously, but with no luck. Is there a different/simpler

Replace SBS2003 with Samba4
Hello all,
I'm currently investigating the option to completely replace a SBS2003 DC
with a Samba4 DC. My research (mostly on samba.org guides) shows that it is
feasible, however I'd like to get feedback from the community on my goals.
Current status:
A Windows SBS 2003 is the PDC and a W2008 R2 server is acting as secondary
DC. Domain operational level is 2003.
There are ~40-50

Replace SBS2003 with Samba4
...ere are certaily details you'll either need to figure or post another
message. All this worked for me pretty much without any real problem. And, as I've said, we've
been running for 2 years trouble-free (and SBS free!).
Good luck --Mark

$HOME/.ssh/config is ignored
Hi,
By default the configure script has this option enabled:
--enable-suid-ssh
Could it be disabled by default in the case where openSSH is not
installed by root?
I'm in the peculiar situation where I had to install OpenSSH as a
regular user to be able to connect to outside machines. I've built
OpenSHH without specifying "--disable-suid-ssh":
$ /usr/ucb/whoami

Problem with Samba as Member of AD, Kerberos
Hello all,
I have this configuration: Samba 3.0.20 as a member server in Win2K3
AD (runs on Madrake 10.2 - no flames please ;-) ). Winbind works fine
(wbinfo etc are ok), kinit is ok (or seems ok...), and all users are
happy...
Of course there is a BUT...
All the above work fine as long as I use NetBIOS resolution. For
example, my server has "XXX" as a name and
