...buffer data and usually only start playing if they have at least 10-15 seconds in buffer. Streaming audio was never intended to be real-time. If you want that, you need to use UDP data transport and fault-tolerant codecs such as used in phone systems. Dear all, I"m using a combination of mopidy, icecast2 and Home-Assistant on a raspberry pi to stream Google music to a Chromecast Audio. The streaming works and I can listen to music. If a new song is being started, I keep connected. However, upon changing the song or pausing the stream, the chromecast gets disconnected. I assumed that this should be resolved by adding a fallback stream,
