Yes, thank you for the guidance.
Regarding "*You do not put the users password here (if that is what you are
trying to do): --password=PASSWORD1*"
My experience has been this, no matter where I put "--password=" in the
string, after the "user" as the manpage suggests or the end. When I run the
create string I am asked for a "New Password:' and then

HOME\Administrator is set when you provision (you supply the password)
or when you carry out the classicupgrade, not sure if it uses the
password of the old admin user or not, but it doesn't matter, you can
reset it:
samba-tool user setpassword Administrator --newpassword=P4ssW0rd*
Note that the password must be complex (and no, don't use the one above)

Hai,
That -k should use the kerberos auth.

When your root/Administrator then it works ok also.

and good to see that you did not have any errors running: samba-tool ntacl sysvolreset
Thanks for the notice back.

Then I did this:
samba-tool ou create 'OU=DmnMmbrs-folder-redirection,OU=CompanyName'
which lead to this:
Created ou
"OU=DmnMmbrs-folder-redirection,OU=CompanyName,DC=samdom,DC=example,DC=com"
I then did this:
samba-tool user create robert P4ssw0rd* --given-name=Robert
--surname=Wooden --userou='OU=DmnMmbrs-folder-redirection,OU=CompanyName'
and got this:
User 'robert' created successfully

Using samba-tool from Domain member
I should have been more specific. I'm trying to add users; I figured
listing the users was a good test. I'm sure it's expected, but I'm now
seeing the following:

New Password:
Retype Password:

DNS Issues when joining a Domain as a DC
Hi,
yesterday i tried to join a domain as a DC with bind9 as dns-backend on
Debian Wheezy with samba 4.1.11 from backports. I followed the tutorial
in the wiki https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Join_a_domain_as_a_DC but
didn' find the instruction completely clear, so perhaps i made a mistake
during the join.
It is written there:

DUNDi with SIP
Anyone out there have a functional DUNDi configuration using SIP for the
inter-Asterisk transport? I've gotten it to work with IAX2, but if I
change it to SIP it does not pass the call over even though it knows
where to send it. Thanks.
