I am trying to build lustre-1.6.6 against the pre-patched kernel downloaded from SUN. But as written in Operations manual, it creates rpms for 2.6.18-92.1.10.el5_lustrecustom. Is there a way to ask it not to append custom as extraversion. Hi, I just received a new server (HP DL180G5) with 12x 1TB HDs and I bumped into fdisks 2TB limits... Since this is an entry level server, I can't use the classic HP bootable utilities to create smaller volumes et can only create a big RAID6. I myself use RAID5 in my DL385 G1's (AMD Opteron), which hold up to six Ultra 320 SCSI drives, on a HP SmartArray controller (64MB of cache though....need to upgrade that).
