Ignoring missing elements in data.frame()
Hello, I am trying to make a data frame from many elements after
running a function which creates many elements, some of which may not
end up being real elements due to errors or missing data. For example,
I have the following three elements p1s, p2s, and p3s. p9s did not
generate the same data as there was an error in the function for some
reason. I currently have to delete p9s from the data.frame() command
to get the data.frame to work.? How can I make a data frame by somehow
ignoring elements (e.g., p9s) that do not exist, without having to
delete ea...

stability
I'm having problems when I restart the smb server with it not coming back
up. As near as I can tell it's actually NMBD that's having the issue. I'm
running RedHat 9.0 on a Compaq ML-370 with Dual 1.2GHz P3s and I just
upgraded Samba to 2.2.8a-1 after having this same problem with 2.2.7a
When I issue:
#service smb restart

the domain, so I issue it again and it tells me that it couldn't kill
nmbd, but then it starts it OK, an...

CentOS on Compaq Proliant Rackmount Servers
Greetings,
Can anyone relate experience(s) installing CentOS on Compaq rack mount
servers units please?
Easy no problem, easy some issues, or ghastly do not do it under any
circumstances... ;)
Basically, I'm looking at some used/refurb dual PIII units and will run RAID
on Compaq built in SCSI or is it easy to pop in some 3ware SATA in them?
Let me know in terms of CentOS 3 and/or 4 please.
