ZyXEL P2000W - working conf example
(I posted this note on
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-ZyXEL+P2000W+configuration too)
I tried to put together comments that were asked for on the P2000W.
These configs seem to work fine for a ZyXEL P2000W, thanks to Giles Scott
for getting me started with it.
DTMF keys work fine and are "read" correctly by Asterisk.
It's important that you upgrad...

Setting "User Info" in extensions.conf? (ZyXEL P2000W)
Hi!
I'm having a ZyXEL P2000W that I'm using together with my Asterisk box
(CVS from some week ago). When I get a call directly to the *-box
(lars@hostaname.domain.se) I see on the console that Asterisk get the
calling users name as CIDName and his SIP-address as CIDNum - but at the
P2000W i only get "asterisk" as...

Zyxel P2000W or WiSIP with asterisk?
Hi,
I'm trying to get a Zyxel P2000W (reportedly also sold as WiSIP by Pulver)
to work with an asterisk box.
The phone connects nicely to an external VoIP company (sipgate.de
reportedly using asterisk themselves) but there is a strange problem with
my asterisk:
- Incoming calls via ISDN (chan_capi) to the Zyxel work perfectly.
- O...

ZyXEL Prestige 200w - should I return it ?
Hi all
I have just got a P2000w and experience several problems. Hopefully there is
someone out there that has got it working. I saw it on Cebit and the person
demonstrating it there told me that it was connected to an Asterisk server
on the stand -so it should work.
Problem 1: it does not register correctly
It get lots of me...

Recommendations on a WiFi phone for *?
We're getting our feet more and more wet with VOIP at work. We want to
experiment with a good wireless (as in WiFi) phone. What would be a
good phone to impress my boss with?
I'm personally drooling over the UTStarcom F3000, but compatibility and
shipping ETA info is a bit sketchy.

Hitachi Cable WIP-5000 Wifi phone?
I see that ABPTech are now offering this SIP Wifi phone. Does anyone
have an experience with it? I've considered the Pulver/Zyxel wifi phone
but would really rather have something that can handle WEP or WPA. I
run an 802.11g wlan with 256 bit WPA encryption.
This Hitachi phone looks very much like a cell phone, which could be
ideal.

Is soekris good?
We found at the wiki a link to soekris and wonder if it is good?
Is anybody using it and can share some experience, please?
We would like to use it as a small PBX including a wireless access
point, so that we can also use WiFi phones.
bye

Audio cuts off 10 minutes into calls
...ngup 'Zap/15-1'
The call is not hung up, just loss of audio.
I have searched the archives and google without any luck.
Could someone pls give me a pointer of what may be the cause of this
problem.
We use TE410 PRI card, and the SIP clients are: Grandstream HandyTone 486,
Snom 200, Zyxel P2000W
With regards
Roar

I meant to mention that the DTMF tones and dialtone sound like they're
played at such a high volume that they clip through the handset's
speaker. DTMF is rfc2833, so what I'm hearing through the handset isn't

BUG: FOP reports incorrect (duplicate) IP address until restarted
...T BAGGER ME ABOUT DOUBLE POSTING) The problem is
repeatable. I am using Asterisk 1.2.5 and Zaptel 1.2.4 on Centos 4.2
with kernel update disabled (kernel is 2.6.9-22.EL-i686) with all
updates applied through 'yum' and latest version of FOP (version 0.25).
We are using SJPhones and Zyxel P2000w-v2 wireless SIP phones with
latest firmware (wv0003 - Jan 6, 2006). Both SJPhones and Zyxel phones
are acting as agents. Please post a comment if you question anything in
my config files (if something look odd please say so!) or have seen
