samba 2.2.8pre2 changelog

I read the changelog, and couldn't help noticing this:

8) Always use safe_strcpy not pstrcpy for malloc()'d strings
25) Merge from HEAD. Use pstrcpy not safe_strcpy.
Did this change get reverted intentionally ?
