IMO this does not belong in drm_simple_kms - but in drm_encoder.
This only occurs to me after looking a bit more on the patches,
you would have loved to get this feedback earlier.
Most users do not need their owm drm_encoder_funcs definition,
and would be happy with the default as provided by drm_simple_*
As the cleanup is handled automatically when the drm device
is teared down (in mode_config_rest()) I considered if we could here
use the drmm_ namespace - but that felt wrong.
My proposal is the followin...

Grandstream 100 sidetone
For people who are using GS 101, what do you think the sidetone
generated by the phone.
I find mind a bit annoying. It has a delay and you notice it as an echo.
The volume of the sidetone is also quite hight. I am distracted when
both caller and called party talking over each other occasssionally.
The volume of the sidetone can be turned down using the volume button
but it also control the

Grandstream CFG file generator
I've just finished a general purpose configuration utility for the GS
phones:
1) Generates files from scratch (using MAC), from HTML config listing,
or by directly downloading from the phone.
2) Does multiple simulteneous edits.
3) Can reboot as many or as few phones at a time as you like.
I would like to offer it to the list, but there are 2 issues:
1) I want to GPL it first, if

determine if email from a domain is being sent through an MTA belonging
to that domain.
I am seeing some email that appears to be from list subscribers being
rejected. I suspect that this is because people are running their owm
MTAs and outbound email bypasses their ISP''s MTA even though the sender
address is in the ISP''s domain.
Example:
Your ISP is foo.com and you are sending email from me@foo.com
directly through your own mail server. Your IP address is not one of the

The fact that there is GNU readline verifies that some people at FSF are in
fact hostile against OSS.
BTW: I don't need GNU readline as I have my owm history editor since August 1984 ;-)
And fortunately, Larry didn't publish "patch" under GPL, so I was able to write
a non-GPLd POSIX compliant patch (note that gpatch is not POSIX compliant).

on every occasion I get the Add Printer Wizzard and
the files copy ( which means that I have the print admin and write list
filled out correctly, and the files uploaded have the correct reator and
group)
so I thought it may be a permission problem because each seemed to want to
upload its owm postscript driver ( being all hp printers ) all with the same
name.
but setting mod 777 on all directories and files didnt solve it
it leaves various .tmp files in the root of print$ and install half of the
files in the w32x86 directory
It looks like it has trouble working on one of the temp file...
