Incomplete format description?
Hi, have I just overseen a link, or is the format description on http://flac.sourceforge.net/format.html lacking information on how to actually decode the residual partitions to PCM sample data? Tor

Need help with H.323
...irc), and it now loads into memory without any fuzz. - Several people have told me chan_capi can work as a gatekeeper, so there should be no use for gnugk or any others. I have yet to find where this is hidden. FWICS, this is all commented out (ast_h323.cpp line 722). Is this right or have I overseen anything? - If this cannot be done alone with chan_h323, I guess I need to use gnugk or something. Can someone help me out how these two should be configured to work together? Also - is it possible to run gnugk on the same host as asterisk? Thanks for all help Best regards Roy Sigurd Karls...

Unix Attributes in Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC) tool
...s >> Turn Windows Features on and off. Lo and behold, there it is: under Remote Server Administration Tools >> Role Administration Tools >> AD DS and AD LDS Tools >> AD DS Tools >> Server for NIS Tools. Due to this not so clear name (or my ignorance, or both) I had overseen it when I installed ADUC. After checking the selection box and letting it install, I opened ADUC and there's the Unix Attributes tab. Finally! While roaming the Net I have seen some people grieving over the absence of the Unix Attributes tab in their ADUC. That's why I strongly think a...

Comparing snapshots?
...in two snapshots taken from the same subvolume. Having looked at the find-new command I thought about this process: 1. Get the two transids when the two snapshots were created. 2. Query modifications to the original subvolume between the two transids. Is the general process corrent or have I overseen something? AFAIS the btrfs tool does not provide the required information/commands. Would it be possible to add those? getting line breaks with xtable
Sorry, for asking the same question again, but I got no reactions the last time. Maybe it was just overseen by the experts. I'm using the xtable function with Sweave and Lyx and I would like to know how to get automatic line breaks for long strings in a column of the table. I've learned from the Lyx wiki that the Latex command \linebreak produces table cells with multiple lines. I tried to insert...

I could be wrong too, but if I haven't overseen anything, it should be possible to change the volume of a Vorbis file by replacing the codebooks in the setup header and without reencoding the actual audio data. Graphical frontend for gphoto2? (Handling photo cameras in XFCE)
...oftware is perfect or abandoned... Before launching into building GTKam on my own, I'd like to ask: what graphical frontends for digital cameras can you use *besides* GThumb and Digikam (that is: if you're using neither GNOME nor KDE)? Is there some obscure GIMP plugin that I might have overseen? Cheers, Niki

directives to explicitely exclude objects from import into namespaces
...timportClassesFrom(<pkg>, <cls1>, <cls2>,....) in the NAMESPACE file? Otherwise the list of object, methods, classes to be explicitely imported (in my case) got very long (and hence hard to maintain) -- much longer than the list of items to be excluded from an import. Or have I overseen some obvious, easier way to achieve this? Best regards, Peter -- Dr. habil. AoE LVM2 DRBD Xen Setup
...If I make changes to the shared LVM VG (e.g. create a new LV for a new DomU), I have to execute vgscan on all Dom0s. This would not be necessary if I would use the cluster framework. But I don''t need GFS or such, so I don''t want to add additional complexity. But perhaps I have overseen some metadata problems here? Anyone? :) Regards, Bjoern _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

how to limit the size of a samba 3 share?
...) the same result? I thought of repartitioning the drive and placing every share on its own partition. Does this make sense? I need to be able to adjust the sizes easily. Does LVM help me here? Can I somehow maybe limit the size of a directory instead? Are there any other mechanisms that I've overseen or does somebody know any workarounds. I know, a lot of questions, but they remains unanswered after reading a lot of docs (including Samba 3 by Example, great book John) So any feedback will really be appreciated TIA Mark van den Bogaard

Why does''nt rails pick up more metadata from a mysql schema?
Hi, when I define a db column to be non-nullable or of length 20 or as numeric, I would expect rails to validate that, but that doesn''t seem to be the case. Any idea why that is? The metadata is accessible, at least in the mysql case. I am using rails 1.0 with mysql 5. Cheers, Mariano

Report on Xen-4.6rc2 from virt7-xen-46-candidate

As you can see, xenstored.service is running, but disabled by the package installation. This is, because xenstored.service apparently got overseen in the source-rpm's spec-file's post runtime/preun runtime. See diff [1] for details. Also, I think xenstored should write a pidfile. You might consider adding to /usr/lib/systemd/system/xenstored.service: PIDFile=/var/run/xenstored.pid and change ExecStart=/usr/sbin/xenstored to ExecSta...

Please could somebody give me an advice how to solve the problem? Thank you very much in advance. Problem with "setMethod" in R package
Dear all, My apologies for re-posting this question, but I have not found any solution to my problem so far. I also think that my post may have been overseen due to the posting time and high traffic on this list. I experience a problem in implementing a S4 class in a package and would appreciate your help in this matter. The class is implemented using Rcpp, which works well. I then extend the class with R functions, adding them as methods with a cal...

This is strictly no worse than continuing to use the old key, so I don't consider it a problem. > - If some key was compromised (and thus the server itself) an attacker > might use the feature to distribute his own keys, which, during clean > up from the attack, might be overseen. How is this different to the status quo? If you don't clean up keys after a compromise then you have a problem. Anyone doing this already has to be prepared to deal with multiple keys being known for a host. The tooling support for doing this (ssh-keygen -R) works identically regardless of th...
