Node or site.pp for global variables without dynamic lookup
...is a Dynamic lookup, I redefined them as "$ {::gblvar_zone}" or $::gblvar_zone. This however does not work. If I remove the lines from the node and put it site.pp eg: $gblvar_zone = ''prd'' it works fine. I really love the way I can inherit from nodes and define new or overrule existing variables. Is this a bug that $::varx works only from site.pp or is it by design and do I need to find another way to inherit and overrule variables ?? or can I just put all global variables in site.pp Regards, Rene -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google...

number of ticks in a persp() plot
Hi, I am trying to specify four ticks (at 0,1,2,3 for the y axis) in a persp plot but the defaults overrule my specification and I obtain seven of them. Is it possible to gain full control over them in such a plot? Here is my code: matlines=matrix(c(1:7,3:9,3:9,2:8),nrow=7,ncol=4) persp(x=seq(1,7,1),y=seq(0,3,1),z=matlines,theta=-30,phi=25,zlim=c(0,10),d=5,ticktype="detailed",xlab="x&quo...

Charset issue
I was playing a bit with Mongrel to test it out before using it in production, but I have an issue with Latin accented letters being all messed up. I''ve included the right content-type in the HTML and both Lighty +Fastcgi and Webrick have no problem with them. Any tips? Thanks, - michele

Mysql 5.6, Centos 7 and errno: 24 - Too many open files
Hi, may be somewon has a working solution and information on that: I installed the most recent mysql community on a server and do get a lot of "errno: 24 - Too many open files". There are suggestions to increase the open_files_limit, change/add that to /etc/security/limits.conf and modify the systemd script by hand. Depending on how you start mysql (restart, or at systemboot time

Mysql 5.6, Centos 7 and errno: 24 - Too many open files
Carl, By default my.cnf has to obey the OS limits, so in this case the order is: systemd > /etc/security/limits* > /etc/my*. On Wed, Apr 29, 2015 at 3:22 PM, Carl E. Read in date fomat while colClasses="character"
...date column is read by default as numeric. So I used dateTimeAs= "isodatetime". This enables reading in the date format. However in the earlier column (say col=1) I have data which however starts from row 10. So to read data from column one I use colClasses="character". But this overrules the isodatetime. Now is there someway I can read in date format while keeping colClasses="character" Thanks for your help Ravi [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

PXElinux and tftp path prefix
...r. (Correct me if i'm wrong) The Ris server sends a tftp-path-prefix location where the pxelinux.cfg is searched. On the ris server I have entries like: label server2 kernel 192.168.1.2::pxelinux.0 This fetches the pxelinux from server2 but the pxeconfig.cfg from server1 is used. Can I overrule this with an append option? Arco

Resetting Day/Night setting
I'm not sure if this is part of Asterisk or FreePBX so I apologize if this is the wrong list to ask my question. As part of my companies call routes, I have a Time Condition for our tech support queue. I would like to add a Day/Night Control so the Time Condition can be overruled. However, I'm afraid someone will forget to turn it off again. What is the best way of resetting this control back to its default setting at say midnight? Thanks in advance, Jeremy

Two problems: -u together with -c and and a symlink problem
Hi, I have two problems with rsync 1st) if I give both commandline options -u and -c it looks as if a file which is more recent but different on the destination is not updated, i.e. -u overrules -c Is that true? 2nd) There is a symlink A on <SourceDir> which refers to a directory On the other hand, A is the name of a subdirectory of <DestDir> Now doing rsync -auHz --delete --exclude=/A <SourceDir>/ <DestDir>/ does remove A on <DestD...

Any idea how come I ran into this issue...? If the mailbox doesn't exist, it's created (unless -n is used). If message couldn't be saved to the mailbox for any reason, it's delivered to INBOX instead. I tried to...

[LLVMdev] The Trouble with Triples
...nment of types, the object format, the names for libcalls, and a wide variety of others. In using it like this, LLVM assumes that triples are unambiguous and have a specific defined meaning. Unfortunately, this assumption fails for a number of reasons. The first reason is that compiler options can overrule the triple but leave it unchanged. For example, in GCC mips-linux-gnu-gcc normally produces 32-bit MIPS-I output using the O32 ABI, but 'mips-linux-gnu-gcc -mips64' normally produces 64-bit MIPS-III output using the N32 ABI. Like GCC, compiler options to mips-linux-gnu-clang should (and mo...

Extending StoreInst/LoadInst
...1 for load, and (optional) operand 2 for store. This involves changing the 'operator new' to always allocate for 2(load)/3(store) operands. Also OperandTraits of StoreInst must be modfied as we now have an optional operand. For the LoadInst, we also need to introduce an OperandTraits, to overrule the 'UnaryInstruction' one. 4) Introduce a StoreWithSideChannelInst/LoadWithSideChannelInst that inherits from StoreInst/LoadInst, together with its appropriate OperandTraits. This makes it harder to add/remove sidechannel information. Thanks, Jeroen Dobbelaere
