Detecting p2p traffic
After varying degrees of success with p2p detection modules, I would like to
write the following rules using iptables to reliably identify p2p traffic:
1. If a host on the network has 5 or more simutaneous tcp connections to ports
above 1024, mark all connections to ports 1024 and above as 60.
2. If a host has received (or sent) UDP packets from 5 different hosts'' ports
above 1024 in a

Hi,
I am using rsync to backup from my server to a backup server that has been
setup.
I can back up a directory with numerous files and folders and restore them
but I have not learned how to "exclude" a specific folder from the rsync
backup that runs via cron nightly.
I have tried these:
rsync -av -cache/ -e ssh /home/httpd/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/

I tried these and none of them worked:
Add this you your rsync command --exclude=**/cache --exclude **/download
--exclude**/pub, and see if it gives you the required result. If not then
please be more specific.

Winxp / LDAP No account in domain
Can anyone help - this is driving me up the wall.
I keep getting this error from my LDAP enabled BDC :
[2004/08/16 15:38:12, 0] rpc_server/srv_netlog_nt.c:get_md4pw(218)
get_md4pw: Workstation ALDEBURGH$: no account in domain
It is the same for all workstations. I have made sure the Sign Or Seal
reg hack is in place. The same client system is OK when not using LDAP
as a password backend.
