MAPI Properties?
I'm using Dovceot/IMAP on Linux and Outlook clients on WIN7 workstations. Mail
on Linux is stored in Maildir format.
I'm searching for where Outook keeps its information on color categories in
IMAP. According to Diane Poremsky at slipstick.com, "Outlook stores it in the
mapi properties of each message. If you use MFCMAPI to viuw the messages, you'll
see the properties." MAPI is a Windows thing and the recommended MFCMAPI is for

emailing plain text to exchange/outlook
I know this isn't CentOS-specific, but it is probably a common problem
- does anyone have a solution?
If you mail something that is plain text from linux a recipient using
outlook, it will remove line breaks more or less randomly. There is
a way to tell outook to put them back as you read each message, but
most people just think I sent it wrong.
Is there something you can do to make a plain text list show up
correctly short of converting it to html with <br>'s?

...T!!!!! Problem: outlook.pst with samba 3.0.21c!!!!!!!!
Hello Samba-Gurus!!
Following really really important problem:
Yesterday evening, we have upgraded our Solaris9-Samba-Fileserver from
Samba-Version 3.0.11 to 3.0.21c. All worked fine.
But today, we have following problem:
Some users, which outook.pst-file is situated on the samba-fileserver
in their home-share, cannot send or get mails via Outlook2000 und
Outlook2003.
When we try to change the path to the PST-file, we get the messages,
that the file cannot be accessed.
Here is a sample of the samba-log of one of the clients:

Enable outlook-idle workaround.
I just recently discovered dovecot. I am evaluating the program and
several clients uses Outlook/Outlook Express.
In the clients issues section of dovecot.org is says "You should enable
outlook-idle workaround"
Ok, maybe I am missing something very obvious here but I can not find
any documentation on how to implement the outlook-idle workaround. Can
anyone point me to an article

Caller ID Rewrite
Hi All,
I have a quick query which I'm sure someone will have done before.
Essentially, I have a 3rd party desktop app which does number lookup in
Outook via the manager interface. Works wonderfully. However, it's
not very clever in the number matching. I have all my contacts stored
in +country code <number> format. My service provider passes all
numbers, apart from UK numbers, to me in this format. Hence, UK number
lookups don'...

Asterisk SIP Microsoft Outlook Integration
Does anyone know how I could integrate my Asterisk setup with Outlook so
that when I click on a phone number is my outlook address book it will
dial the number and ring my SIP phone so that I can just pick it up? I
am interested in this integration for WinXP with Outlook 2003 and
WInVista with Outlook 2007.
Thanks,
Michael
