Drop the incoming traffic in iptables, rather than rejecting it?

Well, based on your tcpdump output, it looks like your rules were
rejecting unrelated packets, or tcp/443 packets. It's hard to be sure
since the ICMP was the first packet, so you didn't show the packet it
was actually replying to.
The ICMP traffic is a result of

no outoging calls with B410P
Hi guys,
first of all, thanks for your advices about copy/paste in putty.
Finally i can attach my asterisk CLI output when i try to do an outgoing
call. 0299703xxx is the number i'm trying to call to, 501 is my
extension number (sip hard-phone), the number 1 before the 0299703xxx
belongs to the dial pattern i created for my dialplan, because i want to

Billing of outoging calls via CAPI
Hello all,
I would like to get billing/charging informations of all
outgoing calls of any PSTN numbers made with my IP-Phone via asterisk.
Can I obtain in * an accurate charge information of outgoing call via CAPI which
destination is any PSTN number?
Does the ISDN "signal" contain charging informations ?
Thank for advice

ICMP outoging traffic at centos 6.7
Yes, now I am dropping packets in OUTPUT chain for type 3. Initially, I
implemented the chain to drop type 0 and 8. But it wont worked and the
packets were hitting at firewall for multiple ICMP requests. I didn't
Understand the problem. After posting here I go through all the types of
ICMP types where I understand to drop packets for "Host unreachability" .
Thanks for your help Mr.

cannot transfer to call waiting call on ip500
...g in and I hear the caller waiting beep on the line when talking with somone, is there no way to put the first caller on hold while switching over to the second caller?. Currently this phone is using one phone line for the bulk of the local incomming/outgoing calls and occationally use voip to make outoging calls into the local area if the first line is used by the spouce.

How to make a call from command line
...tions were cool). I havent installed
my x100p yet and I wish to make a call from the
command line to test my configuration.... is it
possible?
I've seen there is a "sample.call" file at the
asterisk source dir, it says you can place a call by
dumping it into "/var/spool/asterisk/outoging".
Does any one knows how to do this?
Thanks in advance.

Digium TE405P, caller id and migration to *
Hi,
we successfull managed to bridge a PSTN (E1) switch over the TE405P card to our
old PBX. So now we could migrate to the * server.
But, there are two things we can't live with:
1. A call from the outside to the old PBX is missing a leading 0 before the number.
Ex: caller has number 0123456 -> * routes to old pbx -> old pbx sees 123456 as
caller number.
2. A call made from a SIP

RFC for new zfs replication tool
...cept of "failover"
Ensures first of all, that that snapshot exists on both sides.
(should it allow hand-created snapshots?)
Then configures snapshot on non-master side, with proper naming/properties.
Renames snapshot pair to reflect new direction.
REMOVES other snapshots for old outoging direction.
At completion of this operation ,there will be only 1 zrep-recognized
snapshot on either side, that will serve as the initial point of synch.

serious networking (em) performance (ggate and NFS) problem
Dear best guys,
I really love 5.3 in many ways but here're some unbelievable transfer rates,
after I went out and bought a pair of Intel GigaBit Ethernet Cards to solve
my performance problem (*laugh*):
(In short, see *** below)
Tests were done with two Intel GigaBit Ethernet cards (82547EI, 32bit PCI
Desktop adapter MT) connected directly without a switch/hub and "device
