Hi, I need help setting up properly mail clients for my email accounts running on dovecot ver 2.2.18 on CentOS release 6.8 (Final) in italian. Hi all I seem to be sitting with an interesting situation where by I need to copy mail from Exchange to dovecot (Maildir) I used a mixture of solution (Moz Thunderbird, fetchmail and outlook) to copy and test the mail. The interesting thing is, once I have some mail on the dovecot, the date displayed on Mozilla is correct, but the mail shown throught outlook, shows todays date (thats for all mail). I logged in squirrel mail, that too correctly displays the date. Almost seems as Out...

Hi dovecot list users, currently we have some email accounts which get maintained by different people. If any of this users sends a mail, it is only saved on his local machine, but not on the imap server. But i'll need them to get saved on the mail server for backup purposes and that every user can see which mails have been sent through this account. Is this possible? Thanks in advance

Hi I am having problems with users accessing their maildir mail stores through dovecot I am working on version 0.99.11-1 (on fedora core) It seems to be when the email size is large (450KB +) The errors are (the server disconnected unexpectedly) Have turned on the three Outlook and Outlook Express workarounds I found but no luck. Have read through logs and looked for clues but am just getting no where ... All the linux boxes here seem to be able to handle things fine ... (kmail evolution etc.) Thunderbird is also giving me hassles when trying to pull large mail files....

I've recovered a load of messages from a different mail server without it's index file (it was corrupted). I now have thousands of messages which display in Outlook Express (yes, you may puke at this), all as today's date. However when I read them in Pine, the date of each message is displayed correctly, but they're in no particular order whatsoever.
