Mountpoint problems...
I can't figure out exactly what to put as my Icecast webroot directory, nor what to tell my Winamp Oddcast plugin to name as the mountpoint. I'm a n00b here and barely know what these words even mean, lol, but I can get the Oddcast to log in to the Icecast and people can go to the .m3u file I put into the mountpoint, but it either just cycles songs or doesn;t play. I noticed that it only

Centos 5.1 distro: How to upgrade 5.0 to 5.1 with yum??
Hi, Redhat announced RHEL 5.1 on Nov 07, so hopefully CentOS 5.1 will be ready shortly. But I get kind of nervous of the arrival of 5.1. My problem is: I have hundreds Centos 5.0 boxes just finished installation and I will continue to install and upgrade hundreds more in next few months. With the arrival of Centos 5.1, I don't like to reinstall them anymore but continuous upgrade instead

Mountpoint problems...
...ple (a simple one). You and I have ownership in a co-located machine on a big pipe somewhere. We decide that we both want to stream audio from that machine. Since we both administer it, there's no harm in us both knowing the main source password. So I configure my source to broadcast to ourserver.com port 8000 on mountpoint /mystation.ogg and you broadcast to ourserver.com:8000/yourstation.ogg. These mounts are created when each of us connects and people can connect to them to hear the particular stream that's associated with them. Note that you can set up mounts with different pas...

AIX 7.1 Samba 3.6.23 Windows 2003 Server AD
...ep-dive for me, so please excuse my noobieness. At some point in going from an early Samba to the later 3.* series I found that I had to rejoin the domain. I did not have to remove the machine from the domain first, I just joined again. Also, I found it necessary to specify 'password server = ourserver' dispite the fact that the documentation says that this is not necessary with 'security = domain'. I think that this has something to do with our AD server being a Windows 2000 machine. I have not done anything with kerberos or LDAP or any thing special. Tom Schulz Applied Dynamics I...

inbound SIP funnies
Hi, I've a few working asterisk servers, all seeing the same symptom, but they are all based on the same configs. A SIP inbound INVITE message is coming in to an extension (not a peer) eg 555 at ourserver.com A tcpdump clearly shows the INVITE coming in, but asterisk seems to be ignoring it (theres no reply outbound packet). All the source/dest IPs and ports look good. A "sip set debug trace ip <sourceip>" is blank, showing nothing at all. The sip.conf default context is in...

Rounding in print.summaryDefault()
Dear all I am happy that summary.default() no longer rounds since R 3.4.0. However, in R 3.4.0, in a few cases, print.summaryDefault() rounds the mean value (and the median value) differently on my GNU/Linux machine and on my colleague's MS-Windows machine. Here is a small (simplified) reproducible example: R> a <- 1234568.01 + c(0:1) R> summary(a) Output on MS-Windows (expected
