Anyone tried OTSJuke DJ??
I have a radio station, presently running WIN98 and OTSJuke DJ automation software. That's all the machine does is churn out music and ID's 24/7. As for existing DJ programs, I like OTS the best and went ahead and purchased it. I'd like to know if anyone has tried running it under Wine? If so, how did it run? TIA WILD 100.1

streaming with crossfade
Hi list, I am just wondering if anyone knows a way to stream with automated crossfading under Linux. I know that you can stream to icecast from windows using something like otsjuke, or WinAmp with the SQR crossfading plugin, but am not aware of anything for Linux that will allow me to stream with gapless output. Any suggestions greatly appreciated as always.

Problem with SSL
Hi Ervin, I don't think Edcast supports SSL/TLS, which is what would be needed to connect to the SSL/TLS port. Try an encoder that supports TLS such as Rocket Broadcaster Pro <https://rocketbroadcaster.com/>. just curious...
does ogg vorbis or any other format currently allow say, a whole cd recorded and compressed into one file, but with points stating where one track begins and ends, so you can just play certain songs out of this file, or possibly cut songs out of the file into seperate tracks. or is there any format that will do this in the future? (like ogg vorbis maybe). just wondering, thanks! Andy
