Chrome not allowing mixed content anymore
...when everyone could be massively enabled by the same port if the
new version of Icecast was already available.
Why is this improvement not already implemented in Icecast2? In Icecast KH
it has been available for months...

This is a real problem that needs to be addressed.
Anyone has figured a way to mitigate this?

Stream Monitoring Service
Hi All!
anyone interested in an external service that will listen to your
internet stream and send you a message when it goes down, or when the
audio fails?
Have been looking for such a service without success, and have set
something up that can handle a few additional stations.

New Icecast Alternative: Rocket Streaming Audio Server
...and the Xiph Foundation has been instrumental in
creating a global ecosystem for streaming audio. I hope my criticism and a
little competition will ultimately be beneficial to broadcasters no matter
which software they're using.
