re-installing a package without removing it?
Hello, I've just noticed that the file /etc/ha.d/resource.d/drbddisk, which belongs to package drbd-8.0.6-1.el5.centos, is missing from one of my test machines: # rpm --verify drbd S.5....T c /etc/drbd.conf missing /etc/ha.d/resource.d/drbddisk I'm looking at this as an opporunity to learn something about RPM which bugged me for a while - in Debian, aptitude and apt-get provide options to re-install existing package without removing it. If I understand this correctly, then "rpm -i --force drbd-8.0.6-1.el5.centos.rpm" would re-install the package. Is this correc...

I've seen the question asked a few times already, along the lines of "Who's really using Asterisk out there, and what for?" or "Would Asterisk be right for me?" etc. I've been thinking about it more lately as I may have the opporunity to consult and/or install a system in the near future. I'm a bit apprehensive, as installing a system with a T1 PRI and a couple of channel banks to feed local phones is slightly bigger scale than me playing with my developers kit with one FXO, one FXS and a bunch of SIP phones :-) Asterisk...

[PATCH] Improve the current FLR logic
Hi, all, The attached patches try to improve the current FLR logic. The idea is: removing the FLR logic from hypervisor and adding the improved logic in Control Panel. The current FLR logic in hypervisor has some issues: 1) Dstate transition is not guaranteed to properly clear the device state; 2) the current code for PCIe FLR is actually buggy: PCI_EXP_DEVSTA_TRPND doesn''t mean the
