Mixed font in lattice xyplot lables
Hi all, can anyone suggest a reason as mto why my xlab is plotting this text
at oposite ends of axis. I would like to represent my lable like this:
Moran's I ...but with the I in italics. For some reason they seperate and
position at oposite ends of the axis??
Thank you

[PATCH v2 0/2] daemon: Move the useful 'is_zero' function into common code.
v1 -> v2:
The first patch is the same (the pure refactoring), but in the second
patch I implement Eric Blake's suggested version.

nfs4 and idmapd
I'm using CentOS5.9 and mounting a remote directory via NFSv4. The nfs
server is OpenIndiana 151.a.7 (i.e. Solaris).
Users bin and daemon have each others ID on the oposite system.
On OpenIndiana:
User: bin; ID=2
User: daemon; ID=1
On CentOS:
User: bin; ID=1
User: daemon; ID=2
That means if I create a file as daemon on the client (CentOS), it gets
saved on the server as owner bin and it shows back on the client as owner
bin.
I'm trying to use idmapd t...

This part I am not so sure about. I fixed a similar problem for unwind
tables by adding an attribute. It could be safely done with a metadata
with the oposite meaning (nouwtable). The things I am uncomfortable
with this part of the proposal are:
* Why not use metadata attached directly to the functions? They are
the closest thing to an easy to add attribute.
* The recent discussion about metadata points out that it is not
really safe to add informatio...

Euclidean Distance Matrix Analysis (EDMA) in R?
I am studying on statistical shape analysis, I wonder is there any way or
package available that I can perform Euclidean Distance Matrix Analysis
(EDMA I or EDMA II) in R...

Agreed, from a stability and lifecycle perspective, CentOS is much better
than (and in my opinion an upgrade to) Fedora Core 1.
But from a package perspective, many of the items in an up2date Fedora Core

The first thing I did was to switch the faxes, so the ATA's and Asterisk
remain the same, just switched the faxes to the oposite end of the path.
Doing this comfirmed the original results, sharp to cannon is reliable,
cannon to sharp is unreliable.
What I observe faxing from sharp to cannon:

How is 6 channels coupling made?
Hello all, I'm using the directshow filters by Tobias. Yes I know they are not
supported here :)
The vorbis encoder (I really mean encoder, not decoder) by tobias works good in
2 channels mode, but with 6 channels it exchanges the order of channels while
encoding. The front center goes to the front right, and the like.
I have reported the problem, but Tobias gives no signs of life. I want to

integration of a discrete function
Dear R list
I am looking for a function in R that computes the integration of a
discrete curve, such as a power spectrum, in a specified interval (in my
case, that would be 'power in a certain frequency band'). I found only
functions, such as 'integrate', that perform adaptive quadrature on
analytic functions, and not on a curve specified as a set of (x,y) pairs.
I have the

[LLVMdev] [RFC] Encoding Compile Flags into the IR
Hi,
Link-Time Optimization has a problem. We need to preserve some of the flags with which the modules were compiled so that the semantics of the resulting program are correct. For example, a module compiled with `-msoft-float' should use library calls for floating point. And that's only the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
