peer-reviewed (or not) publications on R
Dear Friends,
I'm contributing to a paper on a new R package for a clinical (medicine,
ophthalmology) audience, and part of the mission is to encourage people who
might be occasional users of Excel or SPSS, to become more familiar with R.
I'd really appreciate any pointers to more recent papers that describe R,
it's growth (statistics on user base, number of packages, volume of help

Q about how to use Anova.mlm
...ead that you should - is
this routine in a repeated measures ANOVA?) and can see that Anova.mlm in
the CAR package offers this in addition to the alternative Greenhouse and
Feldt tests.
I just don't really know how to perform the test - can someone give me some
help.
Thank you.

oodraw command line usage
I use R to create .eps graphics and then use oodraw to convert them
to .emf versions. (One reason I do this is that OOo tends to
re-size .eps files and I haven't found a way to stop it or change it
once the graph is resized. .emf files are not distorted by OOo -
fortunately.) I use a command like:
> oodraw filename.eps &
The gui opens and then I select .emf and do an export. I

Adding elements in an array where I have missing data.
This is a simple question but I cannot seem to find
the answer.
I have two vectors but with missing data and I want to
add them together with
the NA's being ignored.
Clearly I need to get the NA ignored. na.action?
I have done some searching and cannot get na.action to
help.
This must be a common enough issue that the answer is
staring me in the face
but I just don't see it.

Feasibility Request
I have a ton of Nortel MICS/CICS phone systems and am looking for an easy way to integrate them.
Two questions arise:
1. Is it feasible to use asterisk as a Man in the Middle for a T1 PRI system? The idea is to intercept outbound calls from the Nortel PBX and redirect them via VoIP to another asterisk box at another branch transparently(thus saving the LD cost). Otherwise I'd pass
